In a thirty year career as a journalist, Adam has worked editorial jobs everywhere from the Village Voice to the New York Times; Details to Esquire — and rose to features editor positions at both New York and Wired magazines. In 2008, he quit magazine work to return to the Silicon Valley of his youth. As a writer, he covered the culture of high technology — an interest which ultimately led to the widely acclaimed best-seller Valley of Genius: The Uncensored History of Silicon Valley (As Told by the Hackers, Founders, and Freaks Who Made It Boom.)
